Level Breakdown & Skills

BABIES

Aqua Babies (6 months – 2 years)

Water familiarity and confidence with parent assistance in the pool.

  • Water entry & splash play
  • Submersion readiness & floating
  • Kicking and arm movement fundamentals
WC

Water Confidence (Toddler & Preschool)

Transitioning into independent water movement without parents.

  • Blowing bubbles & face submersion
  • Front & back floats with assistance
  • Safe pool entry and exit skills
LEVEL 1

Level 1 – Beginner

Building core independent floating and kicking techniques.

  • Unassisted front & back streamline glide
  • Basic freestyle kick (5m)
  • Jump entry & safe recovery to wall
LEVEL 2

Level 2 – Advanced Beginner

Introducing arm actions and side breathing concepts.

  • Freestyle arm stroke with kicking (10m)
  • Introduction to side breathing
  • Independent backstroke kick (10m)
LEVEL 3

Level 3 – Intermediate 1

Refining strokes and expanding distance capacity.

  • Consistent freestyle with bilateral breathing (15m)
  • Full backstroke with arm rotation (15m)
  • Survival backstroke introduction
LEVEL 4

Level 4 – Intermediate 2

Developing breaststroke kick and water endurance.

  • Freestyle & Backstroke proficiency (25m)

Level 7 – Pre-Squad Preparation

Focusing on turns, swim efficiency, and pace work.

  • Continuous 100m Medley stroke swimming
  • Freestyle & Backstroke tumble turns
  • Survival & safety swim routines

Level 8 – Junior Squad Level

Refining race starts, turns, and endurance training.

  • 200m continuous swimming endurance
